When your pet is not feeling well, you can feel confident that we have the tools to diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions. From the more common (ear infections and intestinal parasites), to the more complex (hit by car, foreign object ingestion, and cancer).
State of the art equipment enables us to perform blood and other diagnostic testing at our hospital in a matter of minutes, and we are committed to making this technology available to our patients.
Some of the tests we routinely perform in-house are:
Heartworm and Tick Disease testing
Blood Chemistry analyzing and Complete Blood Count
Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) testing
- Intestinal Parasite (Fecal) Testing
Skin and Ear Cytologies
For complex and specialty testing, we employ the services of credible outside laboratories to quickly and accurately diagnose your pet. We may also use an outside lab for non-urgent care blood chemistry analyzing and Complete Blood Counts.
Some of the tests we send samples to outside labs for:
- Thyroid Function testing
- Vaccine Titers
Bladder Tumor testing
Radiographs, or "X-Rays", detect fractures, dislocations, and other bone and soft tissue abnormalities.
Our equipment produces excellent quality films that are available to view in a matter of minutes. We also offer hip and elbow X-ray studies for conformational analysis of breeding dogs by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA).
